The Instructor Examination - Qualifier (IE-Q) for former IISA Instructors
The
USSG acknowledges the changes in inline skating education and has created
the Instructor Exam-Qualifier (IE-Q), a written test only available to
former IISA instructors, as an initial measurable standard.
The IE-Q has been developed to better the standard for instruction, to help reduce liability, and to increase credibility for all instructors. The IE-Q covers Class Management, Physiology, Kinesiology, Education, and Safety. Some answers may require research especially in the physiology section, but most questions are to provoke thoughts about your own teaching experiences. All instructors that take the time will pass the test and become recertified as an USSG qualified instructor. The IE-Q is 25 questions total and can be completed entirely by mail and email.
